Dr. Kelly James is a proud native of New York but has made his home in Missouri. He has been a general surgeon with the practice since 1993. He is a graduate of New York University and attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Stonybrook University in Long Island, NY. He is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Sigi Joseph is a fellowship trained minimally invasive and weight loss surgeon. He earned his medical degree at St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed surgical training in the United Kingdom at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland. He also completed a surgical residency at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO and then a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.

Dr. Clint Gates is a native of Kiowa, Kansas, he graduated medical school from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2014 and completed general surgery residency at University of Kansas-Wichita. His general surgery special interests include gastrointestinal surgery, endocrine surgery, ventral and hiatal hernia repairs, skin and soft tissue disease, anorectal surgery, and dialysis access. He is proficient in robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical approaches. He is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

PA. Tina Tran is a graduate from the University of Kansas, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology. She attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City and completed her Masters of Medical Science Physician Assistant studies. Tina is a board certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of PAs and American Associates of Surgical Physician Assistants.

Makenzie Evinger FNP-BC is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. While working as a Registered Nurse, Makenzie completed her Master of Science in Nursing in June 2022. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is accredited by The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Makenzie has a background in Critical Care, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Emergency Medicine. Throughout her career, Makenzie has enjoyed caring for surgical and trauma patients, making this position a perfect fit for her.
